Amazon MGM Studios released Verity in theaters worldwide on October 2. The psychological thriller adapts Colleen Hoover’s novel, with Anne Hathaway as author Verity Crawford, Dakota Johnson as writer Lowen Ashleigh and Josh Hartnett as Jeremy Crawford.
The studio’s synopsis follows Lowen after she moves to the Crawford estate to finish Verity’s book series and finds material that makes it difficult to separate confession, manipulation and fiction. Michael Showalter directed from a screenplay by Nick Antosca and Hoover.
This notice confirms the release, principal cast and premise; it is not a review. Moviegoers should use a local theater listing for current showtimes, since schedules and availability vary by market.
