The 2026 UK Theatre Awards take place today at 8 Northumberland Avenue in London, with performer La Voix hosting. The annual program recognizes productions, performances and behind-the-scenes work presented throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
UK Theatre has named Jodie Comer the inaugural recipient of its Outstanding Achievement in British Theatre Award. The organization connects the honor to her stage work in Prima Facie, including the production’s 2026 tour across the United Kingdom and Ireland.
The competitive shortlists cover performance, musical production, new plays, revivals, design, dance, opera and several off-stage fields. This preview records the announced ceremony and special recognition; it does not report competitive winners before the event.
