FX’s The Lowdown begins its second season today with two episodes. Disney’s release calendar schedules the U.S. Hulu premiere for 6 p.m. Pacific time, while FX and Hulu are both listed as ways to watch.
Ethan Hawke returns as Lee Raybon, the Tulsa journalist and investigator drawn into a case involving a missing prisoner and local corruption. Betty Gilpin plays Ginger, the public defender whose case catches Lee’s attention; Tommy Lee Jones joins as Lee’s estranged father.
The new season has eight episodes. The announced premise and schedule come from Disney’s service information, not an advance review, and availability through Hulu on Disney+ depends on subscription and location.
