According to Netflix, the film uses archival footage, personal photographs and home videos contributed by fans and friends. The materials are intended to let Macdonald’s own voice help carry the account of his life and work.
Apatow, Amanda Rohlke and Ross M. Dinerstein are listed as producers. This notice identifies the verified release and creative approach without presenting a review, an interview or details beyond the service’s published description.
