BET is due to premiere Her Baby at 10 p.m. ET/CT tonight, beginning a four-week run of half-hour episodes. The thriller was produced by aTwist as a vertical microseries and reformatted into a horizontal television presentation for BET.
Mia Reese, Destyni Hannah Cooper and Brandon McGee lead a story about a couple whose long-awaited pregnancy depends on a surrogate moving into their home. The project is the first title in BET's announced partnership with the mobile-first studio and platform.
BET says it will hold a limited first-run window for the long-form episodes before Her Baby moves to aTwist in its vertical format. A date for that later release has not been announced, making tonight's broadcast the only confirmed availability in the current notice.
